This 190 x 45mm H3 CCA Treated Pine, 3.6m length, suits external, above-ground bearers, joists, rafters and general heavy framing. H3 copper chrome arsenate treatment resists decay, fungi and termites in exposed settings. Straight, stable and workable, it is excellent for pergolas, verandahs and deck substructures. Install with galvanised or stainless steel fixings and protect with exterior-grade coatings. Always seal cut ends and rebates with preservative. Not appropriate for in-ground or marine environments; select higher hazard classes when ground contact or water immersion may occur.
