This 190 x 45mm H3 CCA Treated Pine, 5.4m length, is engineered for external above-ground applications including bearers, joists and rafters. The H3 copper chrome arsenate treatment provides protection against decay, fungi and termites. Straight, stable and easy to machine, it is ideal for pergolas, verandahs and deck subframes. Use galvanised or stainless steel fixings with exterior timber coatings for longevity. Seal cut ends with a preservative. Not intended for in-ground or marine exposure; opt for higher hazard classes where direct soil or water contact is expected.
