This 240 x 42 mm F27 solid Merbau beam provides excellent structural capacity and toughness for heavy-duty applications. The 3 m length is suited to compact spans in lintels, bearers, joists and verandah beams. Merbau’s Class 1 above-ground durability and natural termite resistance ensure reliable outdoor performance. Kiln-dried for dimensional stability, smooth dressed for a quality finish and easy to machine. Seal cut ends and coat all faces. Design and installation must follow AS 1720 and NCC requirements.
