This 240 x 45mm H3 CCA Treated Pine, 3.0m length, is suited to external beams, bearers and large-span framing above ground. The H3 treatment protects against decay, fungi and termites in exposed environments. Straight, stable and easy to work, it is ideal for pergolas, carports and deck subframes. Use galvanised or stainless steel fixings and exterior coatings for long-term durability. Seal all cut ends with preservative sealer. Not for in-ground or marine exposure; choose higher hazard classes where ground contact or immersion is required and verify spans appropriately.
