The
Dulux Concrete & Paving Water-Based Topcoat
is the final stage in transforming your surfaces. This hardwearing finishing coat is easy to keep clean and withstands high-traffic areas for a durable, lasting finish. Application tools include a 15mm nap roller, roller frame with an extension pole, roller tray, and a 50-65mm brush. The topcoat is touch dry in 30 minutes, and it is important to allow it to fully dry before applying the second coat. Note that the product may appear lumpy due to the anti-slip particles, which is completely normal and will mix through after a few minutes of stirring. Stir well before and during application with a broad, flat paddle using an up-and-down scooping action.
Use a brush to cut-in around any edges or hard-to-reach places, then apply one coat of
Dulux Concrete and Paving Topcoat
using a roller. Work in small sections, ensuring you slightly overlap the previous section to minimize raised edges. Allow the first coat to fully dry before applying the second coat. For rough concrete with peaks and dips, you may find that the paint is difficult to get into the dips. On the first coat, try using the edges of the roller or a paintbrush to work the paint into these dips. Allow to fully dry before proceeding to the next step. Congratulations, you have now completed all three stages. Please wait for the specified periods before you walk or drive on your surface.
